Active began trading in 1990 and has since grown to become Scotland's largest international music agency. Artists of all musical genres are represented and we regularly work in Canada and Australia as well as Europe.
All live bookings for the acts listed are handled by Active and we liaise with promoters, festivals, record labels and press offices to ensure the best possible shows are secured.
Active are also involved in producing Showcase Scotland which takes place annually during the highly acclaimed Celtic Connections Festival in January each year. Showcase is funded by Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and The Scottish Arts Council and is the largest gathering of the international music industry in Scotland. It is a delegate based event and involves around 60 Scottish artists all of whom perform as part of Celtic Connections. In 2004, 189 leading music industry figures from 150 festivals, record labels and worlds media attended, representing 49 nations in the world.
